Best Documentary

Last year, we saw a wonderful increase in young filmmakers taking up documentary filmmaking and we are keen to see this continue.

Documentary making is a special craft, and we have decided to give young filmmakers and high schools an incentive of a £500 prize for the Best Documentary.

We’re looking for films focussing on topics, events, places, and people that interest you, in Gaelic. Topics can range from the environment, a favourite hobby, a historical event, to a special person, and needn’t be something you’d traditionally associate with Gaelic.

If documentaries aren’t your thing, don’t worry – there are lots of prizes open to drama or comedy makers too!
