FilmG has uncovered a wealth of talent since its launch in 2008 with a number of young participants going on to enjoy successful media careers. The competition is open to high school classes, independent filmmakers, and primary schools.
HIGH SCHOOLS
We offer 2 day filmmaking workshops to high school Gaelic classes all over Scotland. Learn more about our workshops programme here.
INDEPENDENT FILMMAKERS
While we encourage young filmmakers of High School age to go it alone, we can offer support where needed so if you’re making a film of your own and need some advice feel free to drop us a line.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS
We are unable to offer workshops to primary schools looking to take part in FilmG, but we are at the other end of the phone if you’d like to discuss an idea with us.
We would encourage primary classes looking to enter to reach out to their local community for support.
